About Us

Here are some fun facts about Anna Saraceno and Anna Vanderzee:

Anna Vanderzee is the Manager of Processing Operations at the IU Office of Admissions.  Anna Saraceno is a User Support Specialist with IU’s UITS Knowledge Management team, as well as a master’s student in the Human-Computer Interaction Design (HCI/d) program through the IU School of Informatics and Computing.

We never imagined we’d end up with a partner of the same name. In fact, it was incredibly odd at first. But we are now used to being known as “The Annas”. Who needs an individual identity anyway? Not us!
We originally met at a party at our good friend Marni‘s house. Anna Saraceno doesn’t originally remember the encounter, but Anna Vanderzee remembers us making a brief acknowledgment of each others’ existence, then not talking to each other for the rest of the evening. Ahh yes, the beginning of any good love story.

Nicknames for Anna Vanderzee include Van Diesel, VaNiagra, Vanderpants, and Big Anna. Nicknames for Anna Saraceno include Sassareno, Sassy Pants, Anna Totino’s Pizzarolls, and Little Anna.
We have 4 animals (yes, we’re those kinda girls): Rosie, Mogwai, Minky, and Detective Olivia Benson:

• Provide hot tunes at burlesque shows and dance nights
• Going on road trips
